my tree branch weavings are currently on display at caffe nero in reading, ma.

my weavings begin with branches that i gather from my walks in the woods and sometimes even in my own backyard. creating wreaths using found twisty branches is a meditative act for me that helps me stay grounded and connected to mother nature. i fill these wreaths and branches with weavings that i intuitively create using colors and textures inspired by the seasons, the cosmos and the four earth elements.

each piece becomes a portal - part nature, part magic meant to hold energy, invite wonder and act as a reminder of the beauty and mystery of the universe that surrounds us each and every day.
